This Privacy Policy explains how the Fitness Tracker: Run & Walk app ("the app"), built by IVSA Officials, collects, uses, and protects your information. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
02Information we collect
To provide activity tracking, leaderboards, and your account, the app collects the following:

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
03How your data is stored
- On your device: your workout history, including routes, is stored locally on your phone.
- In the cloud: your account details and leaderboard entries are stored securely with Firebase (Google Cloud), used to power sign-in and the chapter leaderboard.
- Photos: profile photos are stored as compressed thumbnails alongside your account data.
04Location data
The app requests location access to record your route, distance, and pace during an activity (walk, run, or ride). Background location access is used so tracking continues accurately if your screen turns off mid-workout. Location is only recorded while you have an active workout session running — it is not tracked at other times.
05Your choices
- You can deny location or notification permissions, though this will limit core tracking features.
- You can delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us using the details below.
- You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it; locally stored workout history is removed from your device when you do.
06Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
07Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
